TMJ Sessions
90 min session that takes a full body approach to TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunctions. This session includes intraoral (inside the mouth, with gloves) targeted techniques to address tension and dysfunction in the jaw area. Beyond providing relief for jaw discomfort, skilled TMJ massage can have a ripple effect, positively impacting the entire upper body. By addressing the interconnected muscles and fascia, therapists may alleviate headaches, neck tension, and even shoulder pain, ultimately promoting overall relaxation and improved well-being.
Regular Tissue Massage
Manipulation of the body’s soft tissue and fascia. This is your most standard form of bodywork and is how every session starts and ends as you become accustomed to the cups.
VacuTherapy
Vacutherapy is a form of cupping in which the “cup” is constantly moving across the skin of the client, lifting the soft tissue and fascia as opposed to pushing or pressing.
Magnet Therapy
Magnet Therapy is a type of accupressure held into place with the suction of a cup. We have found that all types of body issues respond well to magnet therapy.
Not just for Relaxation
Typical massage techniques, while extremely beneficial for a varying amount of ailments, can sometimes cause more harm than good when used in an inappropriate setting.
For example, in cases of heavy scar tissue (such as mastectomy), pressing the tissue further down into the body can cause more pain than relief.
